Mudline is a Kentuckiana drywall and construction crew that takes finish work seriously — because the wall is the last thing your client sees, and the first thing they'll notice if it's wrong.
Show up when we said we would. Hang it tight. Finish it flat. Clean up like we were never there.
The drywall trade has a reputation problem. Late starts, sloppy finishes, dust everywhere, a crew you can't get on the phone. We started Mudline because that doesn't have to be how this works.
We treat drywall like the finish trade it is — because by the time we're done, the wall plane is what your eye lands on. Get it flat, square, and clean and the rest of the house looks better. Get it wrong and you can't paint your way out of it.
We didn't start Mudline to chase a few jobs and burn out the crew. We started it to be the easiest drywall and construction company you'll ever work with.
Mudline Drywall & Construction Co. is a family-built Louisville company. We chose a Kentucky heritage identity because that's where we're from and that's how we work — old-world craft, multi-generational pride, and a name that means something on the side of a truck.
The "mudline" itself is the seam where joint compound meets the sheet — the line we live on every day. Get it right and the wall reads as one continuous surface. Get it wrong and the whole room shows it.
We're proud to plant a flag in Louisville and serve every neighborhood, every builder, and every property in our area like it's the only one we're working on.
Work With UsThe work has to mean something. Here's how we think about it on every job — single-room patches, custom homes, and 100-unit multifamily alike.
On time, prepared, with the materials staged. The simplest version of respect on a job site.
Sheet placement is the foundation of a clean finish. Get this wrong and no amount of mud fixes it.
Three coats, sanded to spec, raking-light tested. Your painter shouldn't have to fix our work.
Daily cleanup. Final walk. Trash hauled. Your clients should be excited, not stressed, when we leave.
Whether it's a patch in your kitchen or 60 units in a multifamily build, the next step is a conversation. We'll listen first.
